Anita Widiati has joined Taxco Solution as Senior Partner, further strengthening the firm’s ability to deliver integrated accounting, tax, customs, and legal services.
During her career of more than 33 years at the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT), Anita contributed to strategic initiatives that shaped tax administration reform in Indonesia.
Her contributions include involvement in several national programs: leading the Change Management Program for the Project for Indonesian Tax Administration Reform (PINTAR), serving on the core team that designed the value added tax (VAT) refund scheme, preparing for the implementation of e-Faktur, developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Integrated Service Counters (TPT), and standardizing services for the Tax Amnesty Program.
Her experience leading the Services Subdirectorate within the DGT’s Directorate of Tax Dissemination, Services, and Public Relations, as well as several Tax Offices, has shaped her ability to translate tax regulations into policies and services that taxpayers across industries can readily understand.
This background strengthens her expertise in tax administration, compliance strategies, the transformation of tax business processes, tax governance, service quality improvement, and relations and communication with tax authorities.
Anita holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from Case Western Reserve University in the United States.
Drawing on her extensive experience within the tax authority, Anita helps businesses build effective tax compliance systems and strengthen sustainable tax governance in an evolving regulatory environment.
